We are collecting non-perishable items and turkeys (frozen - please deliver during office hours) for out local families in need. We are supplying full Thanksgiving meals for families who are in need of our assistance this Thanksgiving. There is a list of especially needed items, and boxes for the donations, at the church entrances. Monetary contributions will also be greatly appreciated, wit the funds used to purchase additional food items for families in need. All donations must be at the church by November 19, 2020.
In celebration of Respect Life Month in October, Birthright conducts the Baby Bottle Boomerang at area churches. Empty bottles ar distributed and just like boomerangs they cone back to Birthright with chucks, bills and coins. Unfortunately, we are unable to host the Baby Bottle Boomerang this year due to the pandemic. In support of the pregnant women we serve would you Kindly consider participating in this major fundraiser through the mail? We're open! The Book Nook will be open again on Saturday, October 17th from 9:00am until noon. We ask that you pleb wear masks, social distance 6' apart and contact tracing information will b required upon entering the Non. Only two people at one time will be allowed in the Book Nook, so please be patient. The specials for October: 6/$1 on all self-help, cookbooks, history, biographies, religious and romance. 3/$1 on children and young adult books At this time, due to limited space, we cannot accept any donations. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again but please ask for your patience and understanding during these trying times. Thanks for your support and we'll see you at the Boo Nook.
