We will be collecting for Military Mom in Action. This organization sends snack packages to our active duty military personnel. There is a list of the items needed for the packages. Please make sure expiration dates are as far out as possible. Monetary donations are accepted to offset the cost of shipping. We will be packing the boxes after the 8:30 am Mass in Schaghticoke on November 10, so please have your donations to us before that date.
We welcome Lyla Kathryn Garner as the newest member of Transfiguration Parish. Lyla received the Sacrament of Baptism at the 10:15 am Mass in Speigletown on October 20, 2019. Annalise is the daughter of Robert and Jessica, and her Godparents are Philip and Nikki Lanoue.
We are collecting non perishable items and turkeys (frozen, please deliver during office hours) for our local families in need. There is a list of especially needed items, and boxes for the donations, at the church entrances. All donations must be to the church by November 24.

Donation boxes are at the church entrances for items for our area schools that send food home with the children in need. Suggested items are those non-perishables in singles containers (mac n’cheese, pastas, cereals, fruit, etc.) and snacks.
The Ladies of Charity, Troy Chapter, invite all to attend their annual Fashion Show to be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at 7:00 PM at Franklin Terrace, Campbell., Troy. This popular event features fashions from local stores. Opportunities to win great prizes will be had as well as desserts available. The next meeting of the book club will be in Speigletown on Monday, November 4, 2019. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm, and people are asked to bring a canned good for the Thanksgiving Baskets. Transfiguration Parish will host a Texas Hold-Em Poker Tournament in Speigletown on Saturday November 9, 2019. Participants are asked to arrive by 6:00 pm, and the tournament will begin at 6:15 pm.
