Viviane was raised as a Maronite Catholic, emigrating from Egypt as a teenager with her family in 1968 to escape religious persecution. She was a catechist and led a Catholic girls club. Viviane became involved with pro-life ministry joining the Scripture Wall, a ministry of prayer and sidewalk counseling to abortion-minded women..
